The sacrament of Communion
Current Members:
Randy Kennard - Chairperson
Sandra McMenamin,  Nancy Talma, Patricia Dlugosh, Muffie Beato - Team Members

What We Do:
The Deacon's team lifts folks in need up in prayer daily.  We recieve requests and communicate them to our church family to also pray. The deacons routinely visit those in need focusing mostly on the active prayer list. Our published list is very fluid, with weekly additions and removals.

Many recive cards to offer uplifting messages and care during difficult times.  Flowers used in worship and from other sources are taken to shut-ins to lift their spirits.  We work closely with our Pastor to visit those in need.

Deacons prepare the elements for the sacrement of communion.
Communion is served on the second Sunday of each month, or on the day when we are celebrating Easter, Christmas Eve or Worldwide Communion which is the first Sunday in October

We maintain and sustain our tangible assets in a way that protects people and contents, keeps pace with changing needs, and furthers the longevity of our building and grounds in service to God.  Our oversight alternates between short-term and long-term needs. Tactically, we manage routine maintenance and repairs. Strategically, we consider the replacement and upgrading of systems as an investment for greater cost effectiveness, capacity, performance, or lifespan.
